Torrie, one of the top wrestlers of all time, came from the vast and expansive farms in Boise. Wilson was an aspiring fitness model when she entered the world of sports entertainment during the late 90s. Her entry into this sector was through the WCW backstage tour she took with her ex-boyfriend. Scott Steiner later invited Wilson to compete in his Ring. The industry was in existence for over a decade. Wilson managed David Flair and The Filthy animals and Billy Kidman. She also was a regular competitor with WCW. Wilson joined WWE following the spring 2001 purchase of WCW. Her appearance was perfect for WWE because of her athleticism, and she also has a penchant for entertaining. This coincided with one of the biggest periods in sports entertainment. Wilson's partnership with her friend (and sometimes rival) Stacy Keibler made her an integral part of the WCW's assault on WWE. Wilson was a part of WCW's WWE women's division after the WCW's invasion. She was a rival to Keibler Sable Melina. She also stood up for the honor of her family against the nefarious Dawn Marie.
