Taylor

Taylor Swift has become a unique pop star: a superstar who crossed over completely from traditional music into pop culture, turning into an iconic pop star that is set to endure forever, and sweeping over every corner of the globe. Swift shed her roots in the country genre like a second skin, and revealed that she had the best pop sensibility in her time. Swift was the only artist/singer who could take the popular zeitgeist on the road. Swift's early songs, including their neo song in tribute to Tim McGraw, showed off her skills. But her 2008 album Fearless showed a singer-songwriter who was re-discovering herself and finding a large audience. Fearless became a worldwide hit, not only in the United States (where it earned with six platinum awards for Top Ten Hits Love Story as well as "You Belong with Me") but in Canada, Australia and the U.K. and many other countries. Swift's new album Speak Now, released nearly two years following the previous one, built on the success of this album. It propelled Swift to superstardom. In the following three years, her fame increased with the release of three albums -- Red (2012), Reputation (2014) in addition to 1989 (2014-2015) during which time Swift entered the world of pop music with her skills already well-established. The popularity of her music grew after she altered her plan by releasing 2020's streamlined the folk singer (and Evermore) and stayed atop of the pop world.
